Caddo Lake Campout

The Caddo Lake campout was very fun as well as unique. We started out on Friday afternoon arriving at our first camp site. The next morning some of us went out to do an exercise on swamping canoes. It was really fun because the water felt nice and everyone had a good time. Afterward we set out on our journey to Goat Island. We had one major stop to eat lunch but other than that it was a straight shot for nine miles. Once we arrived we set up camp and took a well deserved break. In the evening we were served a first class meal made by Andrew and other Scouts on the Trail to First Class. We all got a good sleep and the next morning headed for home. Everyone had a good time at the Caddo Lake campout. Travis S
