Family Campout
Lake Mineral Wells State Park

This campout was open to all family members and included a variety of activities such as the Classic Annual 50 Mile Bike Ride.  Unfortunately some got flat tires that were patched on the trail but because of lost time, a shorter distance was covered. There was also fishing, hiking, orienteering and games as well as just sitting outdoors and chatting. The semi-annual Court of Honor was held Saturday afternoon after a full day of biking and other activities.

Screened shelters were available to families although all of the Scouts slept in tents. The cooking and cleaning were done by the adults, an activity highly favored by the Scouts.
