February 22-24 Military Campout
USS Lexington, Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Fishing Port Aransas

We stayed on the Lexington two Nights. All Scouts and Adults enjoyed crew quarters with showers and restrooms. They had shower and toilet stalls with doors on each one. Breakfast was on the LEX both days as well as dinner Saturday night. The LEX gave us a sack lunch Saturday. We had a tour of the Air Station Saturday during the day then went back to the LEX for their tour and evening events. Up early Sunday for the ride to Port Aransas to go Bay fishing at 8AM off the boat at noon, lunch and then the ride home. Thanks to Linda Mosman, driver for Buses by Bill for the pictures as well as our "professional" troop photographer, Paul Johnson. And a very special thanks to Phil John who organized this spectacular campout for so many people (48+).
